Behind Pawmit

The method: one rule, one source, one date

Every rule shown in Pawmit — cabin, hold, cargo, embargo, deadline — carries an official source and a verification date. No source, no claim: that's the line we don't cross.

154 of the 154 airlines in the catalog now carry a dated official source. Some routes are audited line by line, checked one by one against their primary source; the others follow from the same official sources but haven't been individually re-verified yet — each route's page always says which of the two it is.

The method in figures

154 airlines read on their official pages, between August 13, 2026 and October 14, 2026.

1,391 documented routes, 25 destination countries in detail, 51 US jurisdictions with their entry rule.

Entry rules come from the authorities themselves: USDA APHIS and CDC (United States), European Commission, GOV.UK, FSVO (Switzerland), and the veterinary services of each country covered.

What we have corrected

A wrong rule costs a boarding. When a check contradicts what the site showed, the correction is made, dated and described here.

What Pawmit isn't

Pawmit is a paperwork organiser — not a veterinary practice, a freight forwarder or a public authority. It issues no official document and replaces neither your vet, official veterinary services, nor the airline.
